Almonds
People who ate 2 ounces (57 grams) of almonds every day for a month had better body recovery after an intense workout session, according to a small study published in Frontiers in Nutrition. It relieved their pain and stiffness, as well as their fatigue and tension. This is because almonds contain a complex nutrient and polyphenol blend that aids in metabolic recovery after strenuous exercise. Polyphenols are compounds found in the almond's brown skin that aid in the control of inflammation and oxidative stress in the large intestine. Almonds are also high in protein, healthy fats, vitamin E, minerals, and fiber. So, if we haven't already, we should definitely incorporate almonds into our daily diet.
